To move away or not to move away, that is the question.

So recently I have been seriously evaluating whether I should move after college, or if I should stay within the same 1/2 hr radius I have lived at my whole life (barring the 5 1/2 months in France). When I was applying to undergrad I was thinking of applying to places that are far away but since my parents were going to pay for my college and it would be cheaper in state, here I am. There are many pros and cons so let's list them all and then decide not to make any decisions today.
  • MOVING
  • See new things
  • Travel around the area
  • Figure out what I actually want in life (do I want to live somewhere it is warm, cold, by the beach, in the mountains)
  • Grow away from my parents - learn to be independent for once.
  • This is one of the best times to do it - when I go to grad school I can't move, when I start having kids (if I decide to do that) I can't move, when I find the "dream job" I won't want to move, etc.
  • Sometime you just have to take chances
  • To show myself that I shouldn't just stick around for a relationship

  • Staying
  • Be close to friends and family
  • I have connections in the area and can easily find jobs
  • Save money
  • For some dumb reason I think I actually kinda like Michigan
  • Be close to my doggie. :)
  • And once again financial reasons - parents can bail me out if needed, cheaper when I know the area, won't be prone to trying new expensive things (like going out places)

Sooooo basically I have no clue. There are many pros and many cons. If you have some input, I would love comments!
